Puttin' on the Ritz

Word came down this morning that Peter Boyle had passed away at the age of 71. He had recently been battling multiple myeloma and heart disease.

Boyle was most recently famous for his television work on "Everybody Loves Raymond" (where he was nominated for an incredible seven consecutive Emmys), but his shining turn came in Mel Brooks' 1974 classic "Young Frankenstein". A must-see for those who haven't had the privilege. From "Joe" to "Taxi Driver", "Monster's Ball" to "While You Were Sleeping", Peter Boyle left an idelible mark on film and television. He will be missed.
