Wave Goodbye, Willie; All The King's Men moved to 2006
As David Poland broke the news over at MCN earlier today, All The King's Men has officially left this year's race, moving to 2006. Sony's big ensemble piece stars Sean Penn, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Patricia Clarkson, and James Gandolfini. Many of whom expected to have an impact on this year's race.
This definitely clears the way for Memoirs of a Geisha to be Sony's titan this year. Without 'King's', they can really afford to put all their eggs in one basket.
I have updated my predictions accordingly.
