Washington Critics Award 'Munich'
Munich took both Picture and Director honors this evening when the Washington Film Critics announced their winners. Philip Seymour Hoffman won yet another Best Actor prize. With Hoffman and Phoenix the Globe frontrunners in their respective categories, could it come down to those two?
The Reese Witherspoon campaign impressively continues, while Paul Giamatti and Amy Adams each pick up another win.
Interesting to note that The New World seems to have jumped right the hell off the radar, while Geisha is also struggling. Early critical darling Brokeback Mountain was shut out of Washington.
